This was a special family session. Nee gave birth to her second child 2 weeks ago and had her parents and her sister flew all the way from Malaysia for baby M’s birth. Of course Nee wanted to register this special moment in her life as well as the opportunity to have photos with the whole family together.

As an expat myself, I totally understand the importance of this. It is hard when you don’t get to have physical contact with your family on a regular basis so being able to capture their connection was special to me too.

For those of you who don’t know I was born in Brazil. I lived in the USA in my late teens and UK in my mid 20’s, I have been here for 13 years and I am truly grateful I get to call Australia home. It is a beautiful country with beautiful people. The ride hasn't always been easy tough, the last 4 years have been very difficult and there were times I questioned myself if I had made the right decision to move here. When you go through a difficult times it is hard to do without the help of family, but I am glad to say that I have gone through it thanks to the ongoing support of my mum (and FaceTime). : ) Family is everything!

Thanks Australia for welcoming me as one of your own!! I am so, so very grateful. I am so blessed!!!
