I get a lot of clients asking why photography is expensive. You only work for one hour right?

Reality is, the photo shoot is the easiest part!

Once we get back to the studio there is a LOT of work involved. We download all the photos to the computer, choose the favorites, then narrow them down to 20 to 30 files that will be all fully edited so you can choose your favourite images in your own password protected online gallery.

Each image can take anything between 15 to 45 minutes to edit.

Here is an example of an images straight out of camera (SOOC) and the final image presented to the client.

Hope this helps you to understand that there is a more involved than the photo shoot!
